Due to the work of the Russian scientist Vasily Vasilyevich Dokuchaev, soil science has become an independent science. Museums of soil science around the world preserve commemorative documentary materials. This is a report to the Imperial Free Economic Society called "Russian Chernozem" (St. Petersburg).
