Students and teachers go to field practices. Scientists go on an expedition to collect soil samples and make soil surveys. Farmers sow, plow and fertilize. The entire instagram feed is full of photos with crowds hugging soil scientists at soil sections and in the cameral spots. This happens at normal times. So far, during the time of the coronavirus, perhaps we will only see artistic soil with lovely flowers! I wonder if field practices and expeditions will be canceled this year? Or will everyone go with face masks?
